Offered to players completing Kindergarten, this league broadens the focus on individual player skills and development, as well as more exposure to game situation. Coaches will pitch to Rookie batters, and batters will be given an extended number of pitches to put the ball in play. This league will play up to (6) games on weekends, with one 60-75-minute weeknight practice in May and into June. Scores are NOT kept or recorded for this league.  Teams in the Rookie League will be restricted to (11) players maximum, and all teams will be assigned by the ABL.
