Rivalry games don't disappoint

In what is becoming one of the best 12U Buckeye League rivalries, Kenston and Aurora battled into extra innings, without the issue being settled.  Sam Potts, Jon Vegh and Bryson Pozniak all had huge doubles to finally spark the Aurora offense for 9 runs.  Kenston battled back after falling behind early with a deep 2 run HR blast to right center by Jake Vasil, which was part of a 3 run 7th inning for the Bombers.  Bryson Pozniak almost had the web gem of the year when he laid out horizontally in an amazing effort for a bloop single to short right-center, which would've preserved a 9-8 victory for the Greenmen, but it wasn't meant to be and the Bombers tied the game with 2 outs in the 7th.  Jake Vasil was dominant in shutting down the Aurora attack pitching 4 innings while allowing only 1 earned run on 1 hit, striking out 8 with no walks.  The game was suspended due to darkness and continued after a 9-9 tie in the top of the 9th.  Kenston scored 4 runs in a 2 out rally when the game was resumed for a victory, but Aurora dominated the 2nd game getting out to a 7-1 lead.  Kenston battled back to make it 7-5 in the bottom of the 7th with bases loaded, but Aurora held on when Bryson Pozniak made a great play to get the final out.  Johnathan Ugran shut down one of the best offenses in the Buckeye League with 4 innings allowing no earned runs and getting the victory handing Kenston only their 2nd loss of the 2016 campaign.
