The 10U Aurora Green team finished their 2016 Buckeye League campaign in dramatic fashion with a nail-biting 3-2 victory over top seeded Playersi Bulls to secure the 10U League Championship.  Aurora scratched across 3 runs with just 2 hits, while the Bulls only managed 2 runs on 4 hits.  Aurora pushed across the go ahead run on a wild pitch with 2 outs in the top of the 6th after the Bulls had tied the game in the bottom of the 5th.  Matt Packard pitched a scoreless bottom of the 6th for Aurora, striking out the 1st batter and inducing two ground balls for the victory.  William Genovese and Jameson Embrescia made spectacular plays at 2nd and shortstop to secure the victory in the bottom of the 6th inning.  Aurora 10U is coached by Lou Genovese with assistants Matt Fletcher, Jay Perez, Jimmy Musgrave, and Michael Embrescia.
